CRIPS WITH CHIPS to Open at Mercury Theatre Colchester with Free Tickets

Graeae, in association with Mercury Theatre Colchester, has announced CRIPS WITH CHIPS, an eclectic scratch night of short plays and extracts, platforming Disabled and neurodivergent writers and their new work. Tickets for the event on 31 July are free and chips are served as an accompaniment to an evening of never seen before work.

Brought together by a collaboration between Mercury Theatre and Graeae Theatre Company, nine new pieces have been created under the mentorship of the award-winning writer, Nicola Werenowska. Directed by Jenny Sealey, Artistic Director, Graeae, with a second director to be announced soon.

Jenny Sealey, Graeae's Artistic Director says:

“I'm very excited to be introducing this fabulous cohort of writers and their plays onto the Mercury stage. What is better than being entertained, informed and enlightened and with the best chips at the interval. This is my kind of evening. Come and join me.”

The event will be BSL interpreted and captioned, with audio description creatively embedded and presented in a relaxed environment.
