Assembly Rooms to Reopen for 2012 Fringe - Stewart Lee, Camille O’Sullivan & More to Perform
Tommy Sheppard, the new Fringe Director of Assembly Fringe has announced that a newly refurbished Assembly Rooms will showcase forty producton as part of the Assembly Festival's programme for the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August.
“Without a shadow of a doubt it will be the most luxurious and comfortable venue there has been at the Fringe,” said Sheppard to the Edinburgh Evening News. "I can’t wait to see what it’s going to look like after its refurbishment and it’s an honour to be one of the first people to perform in it after it reopens."
The programme will include Stewart Lee, Camille O’Sullivan, Greg Hemphill, Les Dennis, Arabella Weir, Jan Ravens and Mike McShane. Tickets for some of the shows are already on sale.
