December 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12 & 13 at the Old Opera House in Charles Town
Is Santa Claus simply a product of children's imaginations and a marketing tool for the holiday season or is there more to the tale of the jolly old man in the red suit? In this classic story, an uptight store manager and her daughter, fail to appreciate the magic of Christmas, until they meet a gentle, white-bearded man who claims to be the one-and-only Kris Kringle. Is this kind old man insane or something more? A family favorite since 1947, this is the perfect way to rediscover the enchantment of the Christmas season. In the hustle-n-bustle of the holiday season, rushing from store-to-store, from event-to-event, we can easily loose sight of what Christmas is really about. Let a little Miracle on 34th Street remind you of the power in believing.
Artistic Director Steven Brewer has assembled a large cast of some of the area's best performers to bring this holiday classic to the Old Opera House stage, including David Woods, Jessica Billones, Christine Brewer, Betsy Crutcher, Tacy Judd, Michael Morsberger, Meagan Berry, James Whipple, Roger Hulme, Holly Robinson, Andy Kiser, Paige Conrad, Mitchell Wajda, Vincent Vettese, Kyle Perkins, Beth Hood, Cara Elissa LaVigne, Paula Shipman, Cheryl LaVigne, Allana Longnecker, Kenny Louden, Charlie Perkins, John Lee Sleyzak, Stephen Nickens, Tony Shipman, John-Michael Rolnick, Ed Conn, Kaitlyn Dykes, Alecia Schultz, Bill Francis, Sandra M.
