MATILDA: THE MUSICAL Comes To ALBAN ARTS CENTER in 2019!

For the first time in WV, Matilda: The Musical will be performed. The show, about a little girl with a huge imagination, will be brought to the stage by the Alban Arts Center in 2019.
Details about the performance, including show dates and audition dates, are currently unknown. The Alban Arts Center promises to release more information soon.
Matilda: The Musical, based on the best-selling children's books, tells the fascinating story of Matilda, a smart girl with a lush imagination and psychokinetic powers, as she figures out how to survive her first year in school. The schools Headmistress seems out to get Matilda, her parents don't love her, and she has a hard time fitting in - but that is all changed when Miss Honey, her lovable teacher, begins to give Matilda the recognition that she deserves.
Matilda's newfound courage allows her to rebel against the evil head mistress and lead her fellow classmates on a high energy adventure complete with great dance numbers and witty lyrics.
