The Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company has extended its run of 'Gruesome Playground Injuries' by one week. It is now scheduled to close on Saturday, June 19. 'Gruesome Playground Injuries' was created by the 2010 Pulitzer Prize-finalist Rajiv Joseph and is directed by John Vreeke. 'Gruesome Playground Injuries' stars Gabriela Fernandez-Coffey and Tim Getman.

'Gruesome Playground Injuries' is the story two eight-year-olds' whose lives collide in the nurse's office. Doug rode his bike off the roof and Kayleen can't stop throwing up. As they mature from accident-prone kids to self-destructive adults, their broken hearts and broKen Bones draw them ever closer. 

The performance schedule for the exteded week of 'Gruesome Playground Injuries' is Tuesday, the 15th, through Saturday, the 19th, at 8:00pm. It includes Cheap Date Night on Friday, June 18, an event sponsored by PBR that includes happy hour discounts at the Woolly bar. All seats for the entire extension week of 'Gruesome Playground Injuries' are priced at $20 and are now on sale through the Woolly Mammoth Box Office at 202-393-3939, online at www.woollymammoth.net, or in-person at the Box Office during regular business hours.
