The Washington Theatre community has joined forces to present the first annual Summer Hummer, a bawdy variety show benefiting Taking Care of Our Own, an initiative that assists DC-area theatre professionals & artists in personal emergency situations. Hosted by Signature Theatre, the Summer Hummer features DC’s finest theatre folk struttin’ their stuff in this 90-minute burlesque review. Tickets are just $25 (VIP tickets are $125) – with all proceeds going to the cause.

I’ve attached the press release for you with all the info on the show and the Taking Care of Our Own program. The funky graphic is also attached. This promises to be a one-of-a-kind, outrageous event. And of course, because it is for such a worthwhile, we hope you can give it some play any way you can.

Edelen, Rachel Zampelli, Naomi Jacobson, John Lescault, Donna Migliaccio, Matt Conner, Nova Y. Payton, Stephen Gregory Smith, The Diva Vicki Vox, and a cast of more than 25 DC actors!
