Photos: First Look at Signature's HEISENBERG
Signature Theatre presents the DC premiere of Heisenberg by Tony Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens and directed by Signature Theatre Director of New Works Joe Calarco. The production stars Michael Russotto as Alex and Rachel Zampelli as Georgie. Heisenberg will run September 18 - November 11, 2018 in Signature Theatre's ARK Theatre.
A chance encounter at a London train stop changes the course of life for Georgie and Alex. After mistaking him for someone else, Georgie finds herself improbably drawn to the much older Alex. Simon Stephens' Heisenberg was heralded as "vibrant and emotionally charged" by The New York Times and "quirky, lovely, funny and powerful" by The Associated Press.
The creative team includes Scenic Design by Pamela Weiner, Lighting Design by Andrew Cissna (Signature's John), Costume Design by Alison Samantha Johnson (Keegan's The Bridges of Madison County), Sound Design by Kenny Neal (Signature's John), Production Stage Manager Karen Currie, Production Assistant Sophia Lewin Adams.
