In a change to Signature Theatre's 2012-2013 Cabaret Series line-up, Broadway favorite and Signature veteran Emily Skinner will perform her show There is Nothing Like a Dame in a special five-performance run from January 9 – 12 in the ARK Theatre.

Skinner's show directly replaces that of actor Euan Morton, who has taken a role in a production at Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut through January and February. Calendar dates and times for all five cabaret performances will remain as previously scheduled.

Called a "true Broadway great" by USA Today, Skinner has appeared on Broadway in The Full MontyDinner at Eight, and Billy Elliott, in addition to numerous off-Broadway and regional productions. At Signature she was last seen in the title role of the 2009 show Dirty Blonde. Skinner has also performed at Signature in original productions of Ace and The Witches of Eastwick.

In a recent public letter, Euan Morton cites scheduling conflicts between Signature's and Yale Rep's productions. "It tore me up to give up the chance to share beautiful music with you all this time around," Morton writes. "I hope you can understand and will come hear me next time Signature has me back... Theatre is one big family and I am thrilled to be considered part of this one." A full copy of Morton's letter is available at www.signature-theatre.org.
