Photo Coverage: Omaha Community Playhouse Reveals its 2018-2019 Season to a Packed House

Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP), the nation's largest community theatre, announces the lineup for its 94th season, the 2018-2019 season.

Omaha Community Playhouse is the largest community theatre in the country and houses two theatres: the Howard Drew Theatre, a black box-style theatre, and the Howard and Rhonda Hawks Theatre, a traditional proscenium-style theatre.

The Omaha Community Playhouse is supported in part by the Nebraska Arts Council, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment and the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. Established in 1924, the Omaha Community Playhouse is the largest community theatre in the United States based on memberships sold and facility size, among other factors. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Executive Director Katie Broman welcomes the audience to the highly anticipated 2018-2019 Season Reveal.

Camille Metoyer Moten sings "Your Daddy's Son" from RAGTIME, a huge hit for the Omaha Community Playhouse in their 2005-2006 season.

Megan Kelly and James Verderamo, who recently were seen in OCP's production of PARADE, sing "Falling Into You" from Jason Robert Brown's BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY.

Associate Artistic Director Jeff Horger and Apollo (dressed for the occasion in a tie.) Apollo also performed tricks to entertain the audience between presentations.

Roni Shelley Perez is a "Morning Person" from SHREK, THE MUSICAL.

Maddie Smith sings "Ring of Keys" from the Tony Award-winner, FUN HOME. Maddie is currently on stage at the OCP as James in JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH.
