The Community College of Rhode Island Players will present the second production their first annual summer repertory series, "The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark," in Room 0540, the Band Room, at the Knight Campus in Warwick. "Hamlet," directed by CCRI Prof. Theodore R. Clement, will run at 7:30 PM Thursday to Saturday, Aug. 10 to 12, and at 2 PM on Sunday, Aug. 13.

Featured in the cast are Derek Smith as Hamlet, Trey Hendley as Claudius, Tabi Baez as Gertrude, Julia Egan as Ophelia, Audrey Lavin Crawley as Polonius, C.J. Gerhard as Laertes, and Jerry Middlemiss as Horatio. The ensemble includes J.R. Adams, Kwana Adams, Kenneth Arroyo, Andrew Conley, Jessica Cooke, Clark D'Agostino, Victoria Ezikovich, Sydni Furtado, Erika Fay Greenwood, Vic Jessop, Stacey Johnson, Chris Pelletier, Leah Vachon, and Katie Westgate. The Stage Manager is Kayla Newport, assisted by Shoshana Adler. Audrey Lavin Crawley is Assistant Director and dramaturg. Fight choreography is by James Beauregard and special movement is by Kira Hawkridge.

For "Hamlet," the Band Room, located on the ground floor of "the round building," has been adapted into an intimate Studio Theatre. Seating is therefore limited. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for students, seniors, and CCRI faculty and staff. For reservations call 401-825-2219.
