Photo Flash: Inside Rehearsals for LEGALLY BLONDE at Broadway Method Academy

Time to get whipped into shape! On Monday, June 19, Broadway Method Academy, Fairfield County's premier musical theater training program, began rehearsal for their July production of the hit blockbuster musical, Legally Blonde. See brand-new photos of the cast and creatives at their first rehearsal below.

The cast got whipped into shape by the production's director and Broadway veteran, Julius Anthony Rubio and Associate Choreographer Alyssa Shorte.

Legally Blonde will play Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts July 29 - 30. Tickets for performances are on sale now. For information on the limited engagement visit broadwaymethodacademy.org.

In addition to Rubio (Finding Neverland, On Your Feet), Legally Blonde features musical direction by J. Scott Handley, scenic design by Ryan Howell, lighting design by Weston G. Wetzel, costume design by Colleen Fitzsimons. Connor Deane serves as executive producer.

The cast will be headed by Amber Schaper as Elle Woods with Sabrina Rollings (Paulette), David Littlefield (Emmett), Matthew Paula (Warner), Kelsey Lepesko (Vivienne), Julia Vitale (Brooke), Sheridan Mullins (Margot), Madison Lemone (Serena), Paris Looney (Pilar).

The incredible company features Magee Snyder, Olivia Diaz, Alexis Reda, Liza Tananbaum, Charles Rusciano, Kevin Geraghty, Austin James Cleri, Gabby Paige, Justin Geyer, Emerson Raymond, Kevin Keating, Sierra Wilcox, Meaghan Cassidy, Colleen McCurley, Alaina McCarvill, Mimi Zschack, Amm Butler, Kaitlyn Richards, Jameesa Bennet, Claire Borgatti, Leah Turner, Jason Zink, Ryan Kennedy, Jack Stone and Andre Gordon.

Based on the hit movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, press notes state, is a "fresh and effervescent evening of musical fun, stylishly wrapped up in a smart pink bow! Elle Woods is the college sweetheart and homecoming queen who doesn't take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone 'serious', Elle puts down the credit cards, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style." The musical features music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach.
