SIGGRAPH 2018, the world's leading showcase of digital art created using computer graphics and interactive techniques, will present a special Art Gallery, entitled "Origins," and historic Art Papers in Vancouver, B.C. The 45th SIGGRAPH conference will take place 12-16 August at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The programs will also honor the generations of creators that have come before through a special, 50th anniversary edition of the Leonard journal. Off Center for the Dramatic Arts Announces Spring Open Artist Showcase

For eight years, Off Center for the Dramatic Arts (Off Center, the OC) has worked to provide a home for independent theatre and performance in Burlington. We want to celebrate our community with a special two-week festival doing what we love best: presenting vibrant local theatre and performing artists. The Spring Open Artist Showcase is a two-week festival running May 30-June 9, 2018. Four have been selected by lottery to present a 60-minute show (each) on a double bill for one weekend at Off Center for the Dramatic Arts, with performance rental, technical support and group festival promotion provided by Off Center at no charge to artists.

Dorset Theatre Festival, under the leadership of Artistic Director Dina Janis, Producing Director Will Rucker, and Executive Director Marissa Hutton, announced today that the 41st Season will begin with CRY IT OUT, by Molly Smith Metzler, directed by Marc Masterson. CRY IT OUT will begin performances June 21, 2018 at the Dorset Playhouse (104 Cheney Rd, Dorset, VT 05251), and will run through July 14, 2018. CRY IT OUT will occupy the slot for the previously announced production of Herb Gardner's I'm Not Rappaport starring Judd Hirsch, which has been postponed to Summer 2019 to allow Mr. Hirsch to recuperate from back surgery.
