Lost Nation Theater presents DISAPPEARANCES Howard Frank Mosher's first published novel comes to the stage for the first time in a world-premiere adaptation by Kim Allen Bent.

Lost Nation Theater Brings Another Vermont Story to Life with founder & resident playwright Kim Allen Bent's translation of Disappearances by Howard Frank Mosher.
"Rollicking, Boisterous, and Highly Entertaining" is how Harper's Magazine describes the novel.

A teen ("Wild Bill") & his larger-than-life father ("Quebec Bill") set out to save the family farm by running Canadian whiskey in Prohibition Era Vermont. On an epic journey through the wilderness, Bill and his father encounter a cast of wild characters-and live out magical escapades as they carve their way into legend.

LNT's production is the first time any Mosher novel has been adapted for the stage.
