An 1829 excursion to the Scottish island of Staffa, with its basalt sea cave known as Fingal's Cave, inspired an awestruck Felix Mendelssohn to compose the 'Hebrides Overture' which begins the program for this monumental final concert of the Civic Orchestra's 2025-2026 season. Get your tickets now!
The Civic Orchestra of Victoria is a vibrant, community orchestra made up of passionate amateur and professional musicians from across the Greater Victoria region. They complete their 42nd season with a tremendous program entitled 'Monuments'.
