Come From Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover when thousands of people were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travellers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family. Amidst the chaos, deep bonds form: a pilot reflects on her changing world, two strangers find unexpected romance, and a mother finds solace in a local friend while awaiting news of her son. This heartwarming musical celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the profound kindness found in a time of darkness.

The venue is open 1 hour before the performance starts.
This show is outside. Customers accept full responsibility for preparing for all weather conditions.
Seating is provided – you do not need to bring your own blankets or chairs.
You are not permitted to bring your own food/picnics to the venue.
Food and beverage trucks are available before the show starts. There are restrooms on site.
The performance has a running time of 1hr 40mins. There is no interval.
No dogs are allowed on site, except for guide dogs.
Tickets will be non-refundable except where a performance is cancelled.
No decision on whether to cancel any performance due to inclement weather will be made until 30 minutes before the start of any performance.
If a performance is cancelled before curtain-up, the cost of tickets will be refunded. No refunds will be made if the performance is cancelled after curtain-up, although exchanges may be offered at the discretion of the producers for alternative dates subject to availability.
