The Landor Theatre Presents 1ST 1MPRESSIONS, March 9

As part of the FROM PAGE TO STAGE season of new writing, 1st 1mpressions will be an exclusive afternoon of never-heard-before musical theatre in the intimate Landor Theatre.

Six of the brightest up and coming writers from across Britain and America are joining together to present an exciting variety of brand new musical material. A remarkably diverse group, these young composers and lyricists are looking forward to giving audiences a first look at their upcoming projects.

Writers featured in 1st 1mpressions will include Finn Anderson, Jennifer Lucy Cook, Michael Lovelock & Claire Rivers, Dike Okoh, Stephanie Smith and Jacob William.

Composer-lyricist Finn Anderson, believes that an injection of fresh talent is just what the industry needs:

"With such a lack of original musicals opening in the West End, it is so refreshing to be part of a whole season dedicated to new musical theatre in London... it's encouraging to see how much writing talent is out there."

New songs will be brought to life for the first time by some of our finest emerging performers, including Emma Ralston and Samantha Seivwright, who are delighted to be premièring these songs in what is quickly becoming London's top venue for new musical writing.

Producer Nick Morrison is thrilled to present what he sees as the next generation of musical theatre:
