Ricky Tomlinson to Bring Only London Tour Date to Chickenshed
The Royle Family star's evening of stories will be hosted by Asa Murphy and filmed for a documentary.
Join British comedy and acting legend Ricky Tomlinson for a very special evening at Chickenshed, as he takes to the stage for an intimate, funny and revealing conversation about his extraordinary life and career. The performance is set for 25 September.
Best known to millions as the unforgettable Jim Royle in The Royle Family and Bobby Grant in Brookside, Ricky’s remarkable story goes far beyond the screen.
From working as a plasterer and banjo player to becoming a comedian, political activist, trade union campaigner and award-winning actor - and even an unwilling guest of Her Majesty’s Prison Service - Ricky has lived a life packed with extraordinary twists, challenges, triumphs and unforgettable moments.
Hosted by Asa Murphy, this promises to be a hugely entertaining evening of candid stories, big laughs, fascinating memories and plenty of surprises from a truly legendary career.
