Smash hit West End show LET IT BE arrives in Manchester next week, bringing its latest UK and Ireland Tour to an exciting close.

The Opera House, Manchester, is the final venue on the current tour where audiences can see the updated show Let It Be: A Celebration Of The Music Of The Beatles, which now features a brand new act two.

Let It Be will arrive at the Opera House, Manchester, for eight performances from Monday 22 October through to Saturday 27 October 2018.

The theatrical concert still includes the Fab Four's incredible back catalogue of iconic songs. But the new, updated show also highlights some of John, Paul, George and Ringo's solo material.

The cast recently visited Manchester's Hard Rock Café at The Printworks to perform a live acoustic set, giving guests a taster of the show with songs including Starting Over, Blackbird and Here Comes The Sun.

It's a big year in Beatles' history too. Just recently, it was the 55th anniversary of She Loves You the single; Hey Jude the single hit its 50th anniversary milestone; and in November it's the 50th anniversary of The Beatles (White Album).

A cast of talented musicians play the Fab Four in Let It Be: A Celebration Of The Music Of The Beatles. The performers have already toured the show to entertain on some of the biggest stages in the world including Broadway.

The Let It Be cast are Michael Gagliano from Woking (John Lennon); Emanuele Angeletti from Italy (Paul McCartney); Irish/Australian John Brosnan (George Harrison); and Ben Cullingworth, from Market Harborough in Leicestershire (Ringo Starr). The band will be joined on stage throughout the tour by musical director Michael Bramwell on keyboards.

Act One takes audiences through the early days of the band as they embarked on their musical journey and onwards to the heights of Beatlemania. The historic Royal Variety Performance, Shea Stadium and those iconic Sergeant Pepper costumes all feature.

In a twist from the original Let It Be show, Act Two is set a decade after The Beatles went their separate ways. It gives fans a rare glimpse of how the Fab Four could have Come Together once again to perform.

The concert date is 9 October 1980, John Lennon's 40th Birthday - and it's the ultimate concert that never was. The band reunite for one night only, just Imagine.

The band's solo material featured includes Starting Over, Band On The Run, Black Bird, Got My Mind Set On You, My Sweet Lord, Live and Let Die, and Imagine.

The show is also different that it allows audiences to capture the show by taking photographs and video throughout the show, encouraging them to snap and share on social media, using the hashtag #LetItBeLive - extremely unique for a stage production.

Following the UK and Ireland Tour, the show heads to Europe and overseas, with the international tour taking in countries including Germany and North America. It is also hoped that the show will return to a London theatre in late 2018 or early 2019.
