Charley Pride's UK Tour Starts Friday

Recently seen on Later with Jools Holland, the legendary American country music singer, Charley Pride starts his UK tour on Friday November 9 at London's The indig02, followed by concerts at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall (Nov 10) andGlasgow Royal Concert Hall (Nov 11). Charley Pride is one of America's most celebrated country music singers. His greatest musical success came in the early-to-mid 1970s when he became the best-selling performer for RCA Records since Elvis Presley. He has garnered 39 No.1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Pride is one of the few African-American artists to experience success in country music, and only the second African American inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
