The national tour of THE BODYGUARD will open its doors to audiences at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center September 26 through October 1. The show premiered in London's West End in 2012 and made its North American debut at The Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey in 2016. During its run in London the show was nominated for four Laurence Olivier Awards, including Best Musical and Best Set Design.

THE BODYGUARD was written by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark) and was adapted for the stage with a book by Alexander Dinelaris. The show follows Frank Farmer, a former secret service agent hired to protect celebrity Rachel Marron from an anonymous stalker.

The US national tour cast stars Grammy Award-nominated Deborah Cox (Aida, Jekyll and Hyde) as Rachel Marron, Judson Mills (Westworld) as Frank Farmer, Jorge Paniagua as The Stalker, Alex Corrado as Tony Scibelli, Jonathan Hadley (Jersey Boys) as Sy Spector, and Douglas Baldeo (Kinky Boots) and Kevelin B. Jones III as Fletcher.

THE BODYGUARD is directed by Thea Sharrock (Equus), with set and costume design by Tim Hatley (Great Britain, Present Laughter), choreography by Karen Bruce, orchestrations by Chris Egan (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and lighting design by Mark Henderson (The Real Thing).
