SHAKESBEER Festival Returns to Theatre Tulsa in November
The event is set for November 11.
Theatre Tulsa has announced that its annual “Shakesbeer” event will return to Tulsa on Nov. 11, 2023.
“ShakesBeer” is a Bard-themed theatre festival produced and performed by Theatre Tulsa. The event, hosted in partnership with Dead Armadillo Craft Brewing in downtown Tulsa, will feature sample tastings of beers paired with scenes by William Shakespeare performed live throughout the evening.
The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, starting at 6:30pm at Dead Armadillo, located at 1004 E 4th St.
“You can be an expert on Shakespeare or just a casual fan of his work. Either way, this is a great way to combine a sampling of classic theatre with the modern fun of Dead Armadillo's finest beer selections,” said Jarrod Kopp, executive director of Theatre Tulsa.
Tickets are $35 in advance, and $45 the day of the event. Tickets and additional information are available at eventbrite.com (search for “Shakesbeer”).
