Russell Tovey é o policial atormentado Joe, preso no turno da noite, que recebe uma ligação desesperada do 999 feita por Emily. Enquanto ele se apressa para decifrar pistas fragmentadas de uma mulher em perigo, um thriller em tempo real se desenrola. Em uma noite repleta de reviravoltas inquietantes, Joe tem uma crescente sensação de que nada é como parece.

Dirigido por Felix Barrett, The Guilty é escrito pela premiada autora Chloë Moss, baseado nos filmes Den Skyldige e The Guilty.

Russell Tovey retorna ao Donmar para interpretar Joe – ele já havia aparecido em Constellations (Vaudeville Theatre).
