La ripresa dell'iconico musical da palcoscenico Little Shop of Horrors al Exeter Northcott sarà portata in vita da un cast guidato dal talentuoso emergente Scott McClure (LIFELINE – Signature Theatre, Rebecca – Charing Cross Theatre) insieme alla consolidata Leigh Quinn (The Government Inspector – Chichester Festival Theatre, Pride and Prejudice – Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Two Gentleman of Verona – Royal Shakespeare Company).
La pianta carnivora, Audrey II, sarà interpretata dalla potente vocalist Dashaun Vegas (Guys and Dolls – Bridge Theatre, Gladiatrix – Edinburgh Festival). Aggiunge Martin Berry.
Il cast include anche Ross Clifton (Hairspray – UK Tour, Jesus Christ Superstar – Buxton Opera House, Lovers Actually – Palace Theatre) nel ruolo del dentista Orin Scrivello, e Andrew Whitehead (Little Shop of Horrors – Ipswich Wolsey, The Book Thief – Bolton Octagon, The Wind and the Willows – Birmingham Rep) nel ruolo di Mr Mushnik.
Il trio di monelli sarà interpretato da Laura Buhagiar (CryBaby The Musical – prima UK, West Side Story – Opera National du Rhin, The Enormous Crocodile – Regent's Park Open Air Theatre) nel ruolo di Ronnete, Jessica Ncube (Rock & Roll Man – UK Tour, Aladdin – UK Productions) come Chiffon, Jodie Micciché (Romeo & Juliet, Forever Young – Exeter Northcott Theatre, Merry Wives of Windsor – UK Tour) come Crystal. Grace Hull (Horrible Histories – The Concert Tour 2026, Sleeping Beauty and the Guardian of Dreams – Millfield Theatre, Alice in Wonderland – Birmingham Rep) si unisce come membro dell'ensemble professionale.
Segnando il primo grande musical prodotto a Exeter dopo più di 20 anni, il cast professionale dello spettacolo sarà supportato da un ensemble locale composto da membri della comunità, selezionati a seguito di audizioni svoltesi a giugno 2026 dopo una chiamata aperta.
Il team creativo sarà guidato da Martin Berry (Daphne, Exe Men, The Commotion Time, Romeo & Juliet – Exeter Northcott Theatre) come regista e includerà Leanne Pinder (Olivier Award per PUNCH – Broadway e UK tour, Life Line – Southwark Playhouse Elephant, Richard III – The Gatehouse) come coreografa.
Prodotto in collaborazione con Lighthouse Poole e il Coventry Belgrade Theatre, Little Shop of Horrors dimostra l'impegno continuo del Exeter Northcott Theatre nel suo ruolo di teatro produttore di riferimento nel Sud Ovest, combinando narrazione indimenticabile e straordinaria arte scenica.
