Galen's Grocer: The Musical is a fast-paced, absurd, and darkly funny original musical presented as part of the 2026 Toronto Fringe Festival. The story follows Galen Easton, the most hated man in Canada, who attempts to rehabilitate his image by making a TV show about running a grocery store, all while a CEO killer is on the loose. Written by Ian Yamamoto and directed by Dave Barclay, with original music by James Atin, the production stars Thomas Sharpe, Lance Oribello, Gunjan, Allison Mah, Nitin Anand, and Ian Yamamoto. The show is a reimagined musical adaptation of the hit comedy that earned a Toronto Star Critic's Pick and the Toronto Fringe Patrons' Pick Award in 2025.
