From April 18th to April 28th, Toronto Youth Theatre presents an all-new production of a Broadway classic in the intimate Lower Ossington Theatre: How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying). The recent Broadway revival, starring Daniel Radcliffe, has created a sensation and plays to sold out crowds. 

Winner of the 1962 Tony Award for Best Musical, the show boosts a classic Broadway score from Frank Loesser, the musical genius behind Guys & Dolls. Set in 1962, follow the adventures of lowly window washer J. Pierrepont Finch as he climbs the corporate ladder of The World Wide Wicket Company. Will he make it to the top? Can he survive his stint as Vice President in charge of Advertising? Can he find love along the way?

The show is features hilarious Broadway satire, heartfelt romance and high energy dance numbers set to excite audiences of all ages! Directed by Neil Silcox, Artistic Director of Toronto Youth Theatre, How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying) offers its young cast the perfect opportunity to master the theatrical groundwork of acting, singing and dancing.

“It presents them with a challenge: to take a text from more than half a century ago (the original opened in 1961) and make it relevant today. The world has changed a lot since the Mad Men days!” says Neil, “A great story, memorable characters and songs that will have you humming all the way home - what more could you ask for?”
