The Second City Announces New Cast for 80th Mainstage Revue

The Second City Toronto is proud to announce the new Mainstage cast for the 80th Mainstage Revue, opening Wednesday, August 23, 2017. For this landmark revue Allana Reoch (Panacea!) and Nadine Djoury (Newborn Moms) will join returning Mainstage cast members Ann Pornel (The Flirty Boys), Brandon Hackett (This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Devon Hyland (Get Sick Die Trying) and Colin Munch (Uncalled For). Second City alumna Leslie Seiler will direct the 80th Mainstage Revue.

The title of the 80th Mainstage Revue will be announced in July 2017. In addition to the cast, the company includes assistant to the director Karen Parker, with musical director Lee Cohen and stage manager Georgia Priestley-Brown.

The current Second City Touring Company cast Josh Murray (Songbuster), Greg Cochrane (The Sketchersons), Aimee Ambroziak (Superdude and Doctor Rude), Sharjil Rasool (Odd Squad) will be joined by Lisa Gilroy (The Beaverton) and Clare McConnell (Star Trek: Discovery).

The Second City Touring Company, which performs numerous shows across Canada year-round, presents Canada: The Thinking Man's America featuring sketches that poke fun at Canadian cliches, "sunny ways", and that whole Trump thing. Canada: The Thinking Man's America is on now and will run until October 16, 2017 with select weekly performances, including extra performances for Canada Day weekend celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday.

The current Mainstage Revue, Everything is Great Again, continues with performances until July 16, 2017.
