SHAKESPEARE'S GHOSTBUSTERS Now On Sale at Toronto Fringe

By:
Pray I beseech thee, audience fair, To hear this tale of actions rare!
If spirits be the problem that troubles thee most, Whom wilt thou call? The busters of ghosts!

Imagine if the original Ghostbusters movie had been written by the bard? Well, imagine no more, because The Coincidence Men bring you this: a staged reading of Shakespeare's definitive version of the cult classic! Witness Lords Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddemore brought to life, joined by a motley crew of spirits and miscreants worthy of the poet of Avon. 80's nostalgia and Shakespearean text will cross streams with hilarious results!

The Coincidence Men are Kerry Griffin, Rob Hawke, Ralph MacLeod, Gord Oxley and Marcel St. Pierre, all respected vets of Toronto's improv and sketch comedy scene and familiar faces and voices on television and radio. Two of them are sometimes known as the sketch-comedy-Gemini-Award winning comedy duo Fast n Dirty. Two of them are published authors. Three of them were the founding alumni and creative force behind The Bad Dog Theatre Company. Three of them are alums of Toronto's Second City while the other two are known to run The Social Capital Theatre. With 100 years of collective improv experience and a handful of Canadian comedy awards and nominations, they are joined by great comedic talents of Patrice Goodman (Sunnyside, Being Erica), Jessica Perkins (The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe) and Tim Blair (Bad Dog Theatre, Comedy on Ossington)

Playing at Tarragon Theatre, 20 Bridgman Avenue, Toronto. July 6 - 8:15pm / July 8 - 10:30pm. July 10 - 4:30pm / July 11 - 4:45 pm. July 13 - 1:45pm / July 15 - 9:15pm
