BroadwayWorld Toronto is excited to announce its newest contributor - Jeff Madden! Many of you will know Jeff as Canada's Frankie Valli - he played the lead role in the Canadian Production of Jersey Boys in Toronto for the better part of two years. Prior to that he had a long career at the Shaw Festival, and has been a part of many other productions in and around the city.

During his time in Jersey Boys (and more specifically while he played the role of Frankie Valli in Australia), Jeff kept an active blog about what it's like being a working actor in a traveling show. It received a great response, and we are thrilled to welcome Jeff to the BroadwayWorld family where he will bring his unique insight as a performer to the pieces that he writes. Jeff will primarily be doing special features and interviews, focusing on the 'actor's perspective' and trying to give readers a new way to look at their favourite productions.

You can read Jeff's bio here, and check out his very first piece - a feature article with Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie in which Guthrie discusses being a pro ball player who loves Broadway!
