ANATOMY OF A DANCER - A Tribute To The Life Of A Song & Dance Man Comes to Toronto

Anatomy Of A Dancer seeks to pay homage to one of North America's most influential performers. Everyone know's Singing In The Rain or American In Paris but there are so many more layers to the story of Gene Kelly's life. One of which we hope to tell....

Conceptualized over the last 2 years, Artistic Director Adam Martino brought together 10 of the city's most exciting dancers/theatre performers over the month of June to create this 1 hour production celebrating the life and memory of Gene Kelly. Breakaway Entertainment founded in 2012 has embarked on its biggest production yet aiming to new and exciting dance theatre. Connecting unique figures and stories through the storytelling median of dance.

The cast includes Robbie Fenton, Madison Hayes-Crook, Micah Enzlin, Alayna Kellett, Stephanie Visconti, Jacqueline Dos Santos, Rohan Dhupar, Sam Black, Ashely Harju and Matt Eldracher. Choreographed by Adam Martino and Leah Cameron (Assistant Choreographer). Past cast credits include - Charlottetown Festival, Drayton Entertainment, Thousand Islands Playhouse, Riverside Theatre, Theatre New Brunswick, High Society Cabaret, Quinte Ballet and many more.

"You dance love, and you dance joy, and you dance dreams. And I know if I can make you smile by jumping over a couple of couches or running through a rainstorm, then I'll be very glad to be a song & dance man" - Gene Kelly. We hope to see you there...
