The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that the Honorable Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been recognized with a 2013 Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theatre.

Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike has won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play.

In honor and anticipation of the Tony Awards ceremony this evening, June 9, CUNY TV will celebrate the Broadway theatre with an eight-hour marathon of 'Theater Talk,' 'ATW's Working in the Theatre,' and 'TimesTalks' programs from noon till 8 p.m. that day. Then the Tony Awards ceremony begins live on the CBS Television Network.

Tonight, June 9, Joe Allen Restaurant will be hosting an exclusive Tony Award viewing party for a limited number of guests. A Prix Fixe Menu, created by Executive Chef, Victor Flores, will be available for dinner for $65. The viewing party begins at 7:00 PM and reservations are required to attend.
