The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation presents THE LAUGH PACK in the Scherr Forum Theatre at 8:30 pm on Friday, November 9, 2012. This is the second Laugh Pack show in the Friday Nite Funnies Series, which will also continue into 2013.
Bruce Fine wanted to create a show like there was in the vintage days of Las Vegas. An All-Star jam of great comedians and singers sharing the stage and the fun...something like the Rat Pack. In July 2009, The Laugh Pack was born. Bruce gathers the best comedians in the business, joined by a featured singer singing the classic Rat Pack classics. The show, which has set up at venues from Hollywood to Van Nuys to Simi Valley to Temecula, has been called “The BEST show in town! In every town it visits!”
The lineup of the November show includes Wayne Federman (Curb Your Enthusiasm and Comedy Central), Kira Soltanovich (Women Behaving Badly, The Tonight Show), host Bruce Fine (The Tonight Show), Robert Duchaine and the smoky, sultry sounds of singer Vanessa Bryan. This performance will take place in the new Cabaret Lounge which launched last year, where patrons are able to order drinks at the bar inside the theatre and cabaret table seating is available when they purchase their show tickets. Doors open at 7:45pm and the Laugh Pack orchestra will start playing at 8:00 pm.
Single tickets are $33-$39 with group discounts available. Tickets are available from
Ticketmaster (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com) or the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts
Plaza Box Office, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard. For information call 805-449-ARTS (2787) or visit www.civicartsplaza.com.
