Waterwell's THE COURTROOM to Play at the Great Hall at The Cooper Union

Waterwell today announced the next performance of The Courtroom, a re-enactment of deportation proceedings, for one night only at the historic Great Hall at The Cooper Union (7 East 7th Street), on Monday, December 9 at 7:00pm. The production is included in The New York Times' Best Theater of 2019 list. Tickets are free and available at waterwell.org.
Waterwell's THE COURTROOM to Receive Live Encore Presentation

Waterwell is pleased to announce that the site-specific World Premiere production of The Courtroom, a re-enactment of deportation proceedings, will receive a special live encore presentation at The Greene Space at WNYC and WQXR (44 Charlton Street) on Tuesday, February 19 at 7:00pm. WNYC's Arun Venugopal will host a talkback with cast and crew after the performance as part of their 'Micropolis' series

Waterwell is pleased to announce the extension by popular demand of the World Premiere site-specific production of The Courtroom, a re-enactment of deportation proceedings, with text arranged from real court transcripts by Waterwell co-founder and Tony Award nominee Arian Moayed, and featuring direction by Waterwell Artistic Director and Obie Award winner Lee Sunday Evans. Previously scheduled for only four performances, The Courtroom has added three performances to the following week.

NYC Parks Brings Public Artworks to Foley Square

?NYC Parks welcomes visitors to view several new monumental public artworks in Thomas Paine Park. The exhibition Dee Briggs in Foley Square includes three works that the artist completed in 2015 and 2016. Titles of the sculptures correspond to the components, dimensions, and adjacent street: 3 Rings | 6'/3' Centre; 3 Rings | 6'/3' Lafayette; and 6 Plates | 5'X10'X.5' Worth.
