Fisher Auditorium History

Fisher Auditorium, built in 1939, serves the campus and community as Indiana County’s premier fine arts performance and event facility. With a seating capacity of 1,460, this art-deco style facility was renovated in 2008. The renovation provided a 20,000-square-foot addition with improved audience and performance amenity spaces, state-of-the-art sound system, and increased production conveniences. With the new addition, Fisher Auditorium and Waller Hall are joined together to form IUP’s Performing Arts Center.

TAO: DRUM HEART to Make New York Premiere at NYU Skirball This February

The new production will play a strictly limited engagement at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts from Thursday, February 11, 2016 through Sunday, February 14, 2016 before TAO continues its fourth North American tour.

This clever musical comedy will be presented in Fisher Auditorium of IUP's Performing Arts Center, today, April 10-12, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m.
