Alex is just a regular 12-year-old girl living a regular 12-year-old life. And then, it happens: she sees something that changes her life forever. In a flash, she's thrown into a pirate adventure full of sword fights and mayhem. But as the fantasy becomes reality, Alex's splintered family gets caught in the middle. Can Alex save the day?
