With her trusty sidekick, Jimmy the Lobster, Calamaria travels to central Florida’s premiere mermaid attraction, Weeki Wachee Springs, to reclaim her tail and save the oceans from Garbage Island. Inspired by the Twitter account @_floridaman, roadside Americana, sea shanties, and the truth about climate change, this dark musical comedy plumbs the depths of identity and obsession to explore the line between harmlessly ridiculous and deceptively dangerous.
