West Coast Players Present MONKEY MONKEY... 9/19-10/05
West Coast Players, Pinellas County's "Theater on the Edge", will present the rich character thriller, Monkey Monkey Bottle of Beer, How Many Monkeys Have We Here? September 19-October 5.
Featuring some of the area's most talented actors, this psychodrama is set in the waiting room of a clinic where five mothers await word on the futures of their intellectually disabled children. They have been given the opportunity to change their children into geniuses, and the play explores the hopes, fears and guilt of each woman. As the drama moves forward, the very nature of parent child love is examined. Monkey Monkey will keep you guessing and often on the edge of your seat as it unfolds to its stunning conclusion.
The Saturday, September 27th performance will include a special "Talk Back" featuring the playwright, Marsha Sheiness and the cast!
Performances are: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sunday matinees at 2 pm at West Coast Players 21905 US 19 North, near the corner of Drew St. and US 19 N. Box Office: 727-437-2363
