"The Butler Did It" is the smash comedy which finds Miss Maple, a society dowager noted for her imaginative weekend parties, awaiting a group of detective writers invited to eerie Ravenswood Manor where they are to assume the personalities of their fictional characters. Then a real murder takes place and the guests realize they're all marked for death! When they are not busy tripping over the clues, the zany sleuths trip over one another.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the New Tampa Players again," said executive director, Paul Berg. Last year, the Carrollwood Cultural Center and the New Tampa Players partnered together for the productions of "Same Time Next Year", and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", which both performed to packed houses.

The mission of the Center is to offer cultural programs, services and events that encourage individual exploration and promotes a sense of community.

The Center participates with several Florida interest groups to promote the arts and its influences throughout the community. These groups offer intergenerational programs as well as initiatives that address particular individual needs and encompass graphic and performing arts, continuing education, and community outreach programs.
