'Shipwrecked! An Entertainment - The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself)' will run February 6 through March 2, 2014 at New Stage Theatre.

A dazzling story like nothing you've ever seen, recounting the endless adventures of one man covering the globe at the close of the 19th century as he shares his ravishing tales. Storytelling for the ages!

The adventurous Louis de Rougemont invites you to hear his amazing story of bravery, survival and celebrity that left nineteenth-century England spellbound. Dare to be whisked away in a story of the high seas, populated by exotic islanders, flying wombats, giant sea turtles and a monstrous man-eating octopus. SHIPWRECKED examines how far we're willing to blur the line between fact and fiction in order to leave our mark on the world.

This show stars local favorites, Chris Jackson (Theater Tampa Bay Award Winner for Best Actor in a Play 2013) Alex Perez, Gi Young Sung, and Colleen Cherry.

Shipwrecked runs February 6 through March 2. Ticket prices are $25.88. Contact Chris Jackson at nstc@newstagelargo.org for information on group rates and show availability. The theatre is located at 11650 131st St N Largo, FL 33774.
