Asolo Rep Hosts 3rd Annual MEN WHO COOK Event Today

Men Who Cook brings together Sarasota and Bradenton's most prominent business and community men to prepare a gourmet meal showcasing their favorite recipes for arts supporters hungry for more than just good theatre.

This year's event will feature a parade of chefs, surprise entertainment, an old-fashioned auction of homemade cakes, and competitions for Best Dish and Best Table Décor. This event has sold out early in the past two years. Only 250 tickets are available, so dinner guests are encouraged to get their tickets soon to ensure a place at the table.

The event will take place today, April 28, 2013 at 6 p.m. in the Harbourside Dining Room at the Longboat Key Club & Resort, 3000 Harbourside Drive, Longboat Key, Fla.

All proceeds from Men Who Cook will go to support Asolo Repertory Theatre's 2012-2013 season and its award-winning education programs.
