The Very Last List of Vivian Walker theatre production brings together a performance of excerpts of Megan Albany’s acclaimed debut novel, with songs from the books original soundtrack woven through the performance.
The Very Last List of Vivian Walker is a darkly funny and moving depiction of a woman who is dying but still has a list of jobs to do, such as cleaning the fridge, tidying the playroom, organising her own funeral and updating her husband and son’s to-do lists. This production will make you snort tea out your nose with laughter, ugly cry, cringe and want to embrace humanity in all it’s clumsiness, selfishness, meanness, beauty and awkwardness.
Vivian Walker is played by actor Madeleine West (Neighbours, House Husbands, Underbelly, The Condemned, The Starter Wife, Hercules). The musical score is performed by author/singer/songwriter Megan Albany and Master Musician, Marc Mittag.
