The story is almost legendary: The year is 1969, when John Arthy from Manchester in his attic makes a momentous discovery - over 1,000 original arrangements of swing and dance songs from the 20s and 30s, which seemed to have been stored there, waiting for discovery by a passionate amateur musician. This starts the birth of the Pasadena Roof Orchestra and which celebrated its 40th anniversary two years ago with a big tour. After 2009, the 11 excellent musicians return again at the World Band Festival to provide its audience with songs like "Minnie the Moocher" and "Puttin 'On The Ritz" in an exuberant mood.
