Proud of his Italo-American roots, Al Di Meola is a perfect example of a well-mixed cultural persona. A technical genus with musical instruments, he started his career at the age of 20, upon graduation from the Berkeley School of Music in Boston as part of the mythic group of Chick Corea, Return to Forever. We are now in the middle of the 70’s, the musical career of d'Al Di Meola will get its first mix, with fascinating technical ease with other genres of time such as fusion, flamenco, electronic, tango, latin jazz, world music and even classical music. With his good friend, the royal pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Al Di Meola has chosen for his current project to enjoy a dose of the Cuban festive spirit…
