YSTAD OPERA: A less solemn mass for the celebration of the Ystad Opera's 35th anniversary with music by Rossini

Last summer made Ystad Opera a triumphant comeback at Ystad theatre with MASCAGNI's Cavalleria Rusticana. For summer, Ystad Opera celebrating its 35th anniversary and for this reason we want to bid on a real party show at Ystad Theatre.

Soloists and chorus gathered on stage to celebrate the Ystad Opera's anniversary and after many entanglements with love scenes and jealous dramas will be a fabulous party! Everything to a new libretto with English text and Rossini's delightful music.

The music derives from the Petite Messe Solennelle (hence the name of the show!), Stabat Mater, and the journey to Reims (the success of 1992). As soloists participating Paulina Pfeiffer and Glenn K, both of which were featured in last summer's high-profile Cavalleria Rusticana. In addition, Ann-Kristin Jones and Johan Rydh and a secret guest per show. And besides, the lauded "Cavalleria-choir".
