Northern (de)Lights is a series of miniature choreographies created for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani by some of northern Europe’s most prominent choreographers. Norwegian choreographer Ingun Bjørnsgard loves to explore Nordic myths and human urges, tackling the past and our urban present. From northern Germany, there is Felix Landerer, one of Europe's hottest choreographers whose creations contain humour, beauty and rich inventiveness. Swedish choreographer Charlotta Öfverholm creates physical dance drama with depth, irony, brutality, humour and an abundance of dramatic energy. Together with two further choreographers (one of whom is from Gothenburg), they are inspired by the season’s theme of Mind & Spirit.
