After the masquerade, Gabriel von Eisenstein once his friend Dr Falke drunk and dressed as a bat. Now the time has come for Falke to give again with an own pranks. On the staged ceremony of Prince Orlofsky appears even Mrs Eisenstein, disguised as a mysterious Hungarian Countess.
"The world's finest operetta" is in this set left Vienna and takes place on the French Riviera-Hotel Carlton sometime on the happy 20 's. The champagne is flowing and all live as if neither yesterday's war and tomorrow's stock market crash.
