Along with Music degree programs in education, performance and theory and composition — and seven concentration areas — we offer a welcoming environment filled with plenty of opportunities to sharpen your musical skills and share your talents.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater has an overall acceptance rate of 94%, and while there isn't specific data available for the Department of Music's acceptance rate, students must pass an audition in their primary performing area to be admitted to the music program.
