The Department of Music at MSU Texas is excited to be welcoming applications for the 2022-2023 school year. We want you to come be a part of the many exciting musical opportunities we have to offer here at MSU Texas. Many scholarships are available to students who attend either an in-person or digital audition. Please fill out the form below to get more information about the Department of Music, or to schedule an audition. The mission of the Midwestern State University Department of Music is to provide a comprehensive musical curriculum within a liberal arts framework for all students. Our degree programs systematically equip music degree-seeking students as professional musicians and prepare them for a career in music. In addition, the liberal arts foundation of our university develops the aesthetic sensibility, cultural awareness and social responsibility of each student.

Greenwood Lake Theater presents 'Oliver!', Lionel Bart's award-winning musical based on Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist on Friday-Sunday August 10-12 and Friday-Sunday August 17-19 at 7:30 pm at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park, 7 Windermere Avenue, Greenwood Lake, NY 10924. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for seniors, children under 12, students, and the military. Michael Sherry directs this production, with musical direction by Gitana Mims.
