About the program
Welcome to the Department of Music at the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts! I am delighted to welcome and introduce you to the wonderful community of artists, scholars, and students who make up both our department and school. At IU South Bend, we offer you a personalized, interdisciplinary college experience. You can interact with theatre, dance, fine arts, communication, and new media artists as you expand your own boundaries as a musician. This experience is guided by our talented, internationally-known faculty within a small-class setting. We offer a variety of ensembles including a philharmonic, wind band, jazz band, electronic music ensemble, as well as a variety of choruses. We truly are a place where you can develop your full potential.
