Music at Colgate offers exciting opportunities for singers and players of almost any instrument, from private lessons to major ensembles. We also teach music theory at every level from beginners to advanced, and integrate music history into the Liberal Arts curriculum. Studying music with us at Colgate will open new doors for you in the creative and performing arts. Choice is our key word. You decide your level of involvement. Every class, lesson, and/or performing group is open to any Colgate student. You can totally immerse yourself as a major, or simply take one class.
