She re-located to St Louis 2 years ago after 18 years in NYC. She combines her background and experience in acting, improvisation, physical theater, clown, bouffon and inter-active theater to create the character Deenie Nast in the style of grotesque. In this show, when Deenies legally required nurse does not arrive, she partners with an audience volunteer on stage for the entire show. Through play, without direct instruction, they develop a relationship, and explores the idea of loneliness, love, and belonging. This show is full of surprises for the audience and Ms Crabree.As Deenie, Audrey has performed in theaters, music venues and circuses in New York such as Joes Pub, Rockwood Music Hall, UCB, The Brick Theater, and in faraway places such as Minneapolis, Mexico City and La Gata Cirko in Bogota, Columbia.Ten Directions is a theater and film production company formed in 1997 that tells stories that pose questions to our audiences, collaborating artists and ourselves. Focusing on engaging and entertaining our audiences, we choose the style, medium and artists to best tell these stories. We encourage spontaneity and creative use of resources throughout our process.
